Ali Taptık’ın “Kaza ve Kader” ve “Şaşılacak bir şey yok” kitaplarının devamı niteliğindeki serisi “Yüzey Fenomenleri” 1 - 26 Haziran 2021 tarihleri arasında eş-yönetmenliğini ve metin danışmanlığını Deniz Memişoğlu’nun üstlendiği “Rehberli Tur“ isimli performanslar eşliğinde, The Empire Project işbirliğiyle poşe’nin Karaköy’deki mekanında izlenebilir.
En azından böyle umuyoruz, her şey çok değişken malum.
Taptık’ın 2013 yazından beri üzerinde çalışmakta olduğu ve ilk sunumu Ocak 2014’te Empire Project’de gerçekleşen seriye yeni eklenen fotoğraflar ve hikayeler de bu sergide keşfedilebilecek.
Gerekli tüm ipuçları, ücretli rehberli turlarımızda, ‘deneyimli rehberlerimiz’ tarafından sağlanacak.
Üçlemenin son kitabı olarak 2022’ de Onagöre tarafından yayımlanması planlanan “Yüzey Fenomenleri”nde, Taptık teknoloji, gıda ve şifa üzerine düşünürken sürüklendiği durum ve mekanlara kimya ve malzeme biliminden kavramlar aracılığıyla bakıyor. Bir ameliyat robotu, bir bankanın bilgisayar sunucu sistem odası, ufacık kristaller ve kimsenin dilinden düşmeyen millenialların resimleri arasında, kitap fotoğrafları alıntılar gibi konumlanıyor.
Daha fazla bilgiyle heyecanını kaçırmak istemiyoruz, o yüzden merak ediyorsanız yerinizi bir an önce ayırtmanızı tavsiye ederiz.
Performanslar listedeki tarihlerde gerçekleşecek ve yaklaşık 30 dk sürecek. Ateş ölçümü ve bizim sağlayacağımız maskeleri takmak gibi hazırlıklarla toplam bir saatinizi ayırmanızı tavsiye ediyoruz. Sergi 14:00-15:00 ve 16:00-17:00 saatleri arasında gerçekleşen performanslar sırasında ziyarete kapalı olacaktır. Performans dışı saatlerde sergiyi ücretsiz gezebilirsiniz.

Performans rezervasyonları için önce buradaki linkten istediğiniz gün ve saati belirleyip yuzeyfenomenleri@onagore.com adresine yazın. Size gönderilen link üzerinden kredi kartı ile ödeme yapabileceksiniz. Biletler 60TL’dir. Askıda biletler için maile yararlanmak istediğinizi yazmanız yeterli.
Cumartesi sokağa çıkma yasağının devam etmeyeceğini umarak hazırlanıyoruz.

Ali Taptık’s ongoing series “Surface Phenomena”, the sequel to his previous books “Kaza ve Kader” and “Nothing Surprising”, co-produced with The Empire Project will be presented at poşe between June 1-26, 2021. The exhibition will be accompanied by performances titled “The Guided Tours” edited and co-directed by Deniz Memişoğlu.
At least we hope so. Things are quite unstable, you know.
Visitors are invited to discover newly added images and stories to the series set off in 2013, along with excerpts from its inaugural presentation at the Empire Project in January 2014.
All necessary information will be provided by our ‘accomplished guides’ during our paid guided tours.
In “Surface Phenomena”, planned to be published in 2022 by Onagöre as the last book of the trilogy, Taptık examines conditions and spaces he has been drifting in and out of while thinking about technology, food, and healing in the light of concepts from chemistry and material science. Between pictures of a medical operation robot, computer servers of a bank, tiny crystals, and millennials that everyone keeps harping on, photographs of books are placed to serve as quotations.
We do not want to spoil it for you by giving too much information, so if you are curious, we advise you to make your reservations as soon as possible.
Performances will take place twice a day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 14:00 and 16:00. They will be approximately 30 minutes long. Since there will be preparations such as measuring fever and changing into the N95 masks that we will provide for you, we kindly ask you to dedicate one hour of your time for the performances. The exhibition will be closed for viewing during performance hours. Outside performance hours the exhibition will be open for viewing free of charge.
